Workshop Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all workshop bookings with Tarro Skincare (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a place on a workshop, you (“you”, “participant”, “attendee”) agree to these Terms.

 

1. Booking & Payment

  • Workshop places are confirmed only once full payment has been received.
  • Payments are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a booking at our discretion.

 

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Your cancellation: If you cancel your booking:
    • More than 14 days before the workshop: you may request a full refund.
    • Between 7–14 days before the workshop: you may transfer your booking to another available date (if offered) or receive a 50% refund.
    • Less than 7 days before the workshop: no refunds will be issued.
  • Our cancellation: If we must cancel or reschedule a workshop, you will be offered either a full refund or transfer to a future workshop date.

 

3. Health, Allergies & Safety

  • You are responsible for informing us of any allergies, medical conditions, or sensitivities relevant to workshop activities.
  • While every care is taken to provide safe materials, Tarro Skincare cannot be held liable for any adverse reaction caused by ingredients handled during the workshop.
  • Workshops may involve the use of natural oils, essential oils, and glassware. Attendees agree to follow all safety guidance provided.
  • Protective equipment (such as gloves) will be supplied and should be used as instructed.

4. Essential Oils 

Essential oils are very concentrated and must be used with caution. Incorrect use may result in skin irritation or other adverse effects. Workbook blends and instructions are provided with safe dilution guidelines for the skin, and participants are expected to follow these directions carefully. 

5. Facial Massage/ Gua Sha Instruction

Workshops will include demonstration or practice of facial massage techniques. These techniques are shared for relaxation and self-care purposes only and are not intended as professional therapy or medical treatment.

6. Age Restrictions

  • Workshops are open to participants aged 16+.
  • Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

 

7. Intellectual Property

  • All workshop content, including course materials, slides, and handouts, remain the intellectual property of Tarro Skincare.
  • Materials provided are for personal use only and must not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

 

8. Liability

  • Tarro Skincare is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during the workshop, except where caused by our negligence.
  • Finished products created during the workshop are for personal use only and are not intended for resale.
  • Attendees are responsible for taking care of personal belongings during the event.

 

9. Photography & Media

  • We may take photographs or short video clips during workshops for marketing purposes. Please inform us before the workshop if you do not wish to be included.

 

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
