Our Farming Partnerships
At Tarro Skincare, our mission is simple: to create powerful, natural skincare using the highest quality ingredients — without compromise. That’s why we’re proud to source our tallow directly local farms and partner with farms to create and sell their own farm-sourced tallow skincare to their local communities.
NORFOLK : OLD HALL FARM
From Pasture to Pot: Why Old Hall Farm?
Old Hall Farm is a regenerative, family-run farm set in the countryside of South Norfolk. Passionate about traditional farming values, the team raises a herd of pasture-fed Jersey cows known for producing exceptionally creamy, nutrient-rich milk.
But Old Hall Farm isn’t just about dairy—it’s about doing farming differently. Their focus on high animal welfare, natural grazing, and sustainability underpins everything they do. The farm operates on a low-input, closed-loop model, using techniques that build soil health, support biodiversity, and keep animals thriving on grass—not grain.
From their own raw Jersey milk, they create award-winning cream, butter and ice-cream, as well as handcrafted produce and goods from other local artisans in their bustling on-site farm shop and café.
As a working farm, retailer, and rural food hub, Old Hall Farm champions a return to simple, honest, British food—and now, thanks to their partnership with Tarro, they’re also closing the loop by supplying us with fresh suet from their Jersey cows and surrounding farms, which we transform into rich, nourishing skincare.
Old Hall Farm is known for its dedication to ethical, regenerative practices. Their animals are pasture-raised with care, contributing to healthy soil, biodiversity, and a truly sustainable farming model.
By working directly with Old Hall Farm, we’re able to:
- Source tallow fresh from the farm—not from industrial or cosmetic-grade suppliers
- Support British agriculture by creating a circular local economy
- Ensure transparency in our ingredients from field to face
And it doesn’t end there. Once crafted into our small-batch balms, the finished products go full circle—stocked and sold in Old Hall Farm’s very own farm shop.

A Win for British Farming
This farm-to-skin model does more than just create great skincare. It actively:
- Celebrates traditional farming values by making the most of every part of the animal
- Reduces waste by using nutrient-rich suet that would otherwise be discarded
- Adds value to British livestock farming through innovative, natural products
- Reconnects people to the source of what they put on their skin—not just what they eat
In an industry dominated by synthetic ingredients, global supply chains, and greenwashing, this partnership is a breath of fresh (country) air.
