Our moisturising balms are built on a single founding principle: skin needs lipids, not water. Each balm in this collection is water-free, meaning every gram of product delivers only oils and fats — no fillers, no emulsifiers, no preservatives required.
The core of every balm is grass-fed beef tallow (Adeps Bovis). Tallow's fatty acid profile, rich in oleic, palmitic and stearic acids, closely mirrors the composition of human sebum. This structural similarity means tallow-based balms absorb comfortably and provide lasting surface moisture support without the waxy residue some plant butters leave behind.
Each balm has a distinct character. Calm Balm is the simplest: two ingredients, no fragrance, suited to dry or easily-irritated skin. Glow Skin Balm adds olive oil and a touch of sweet orange for a gentle sensory lift. Cloud Cream brings a whipped texture and a calming lavender and chamomile blend for evening use. Battle Balm is our most botanically layered formula, combining rosehip, black seed and jojoba for skin that faces demanding conditions.
All balms are available in 30g and 80g aluminium tins as part of our Return and Reuse Scheme. Handcrafted in Hertfordshire.
